Become a member of the Westport Public Library today! Fill out the library card request form on the right and your new library card will be available for pick-up or by mail to your address.

Library cards are free to residents of Westport: acceptable identification is required. By submitting a request for a Library card, you are agreeing to the following:

1. 1. Agree to follow the rules of the Westport Public Library Board 
   2. Agree to inform the Library immediately if I change my address or if my card is lost or stolen
   3. If I am applying on behalf of a minor, I acknowledge that it is my responsibility to guide the minor in question in his or her use of the library, including their choice of reading/listening materials
   4. Agree to be responsible for all material borrowd on my / my minor’s Library card and any charges which may be incurred 
   5. Agree to the terms and conditions of membership as listed

Terms and Conditions of Membership

The Library reserves the right to revoke library cards. Materials borrowed remain the property of the Library and cannot be sold to a third party. The collection of information on this form is subject to the provisions of the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act. This information is used for library-related purposes only.
